Responsibility for the processing of personal data

Your privacy is of great importance to Verve by Vruchtvlees ; consequently, it complies with the Personal Data Protection Act and European Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC. Moreover, Verve by Vruchtvlees has anticipated the General Data Protection Regulation, which will replace the aforementioned acts with effect from 25 May 2018. This privacy statement covers all the legislation jointly referred to as ‘Relevant Data Protection Legislation’.

Verve by Vruchtvlees is responsible for processing personal data in the way described in this privacy statement and is, therefore, the ‘controller’ in the sense of the Relevant Data Protection Legislation.

Personal data that we process

Verve by Vruchtvlees processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide us with this data. We process your data in order to implement our agreement and/or to fulfil a legal duty to align our services with your requirements as well as possible.

Verve by Vruchtvlees does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realise the objectives for which your data has been collected. For each contract for services, we observe the following retention periods for the various categories of personal data we process.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about visitors to our website who are younger than 16 years, unless they have their parents’ or guardians’ permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16.

We advise parents to involve themselves in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about their children being collected without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data concerning a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@verveagency.com and we will remove this data.

The goal for which and the basis on which we process personal data

Verve by Vruchtvlees processes your personal data for the following reasons:

• To be able to phone or email you if necessary to provide our services

• To inform you of changes to our services or products

• To offer you the opportunity to create an account

• To deliver goods and services to you

• Verve by Vruchtvlees analyses behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and to align our offer of products and services with your preferences.

• Verve by Vruchtvlees follows surfing behaviour across various websites in order to align our products and services with your requirements.

• Verve by Vruchtvlees also processes personal data when we are legally required to do so, such as the data we require for our tax returns.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Verve by Vruchtvlees does not sell your data to third parties and will only make it available if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal requirement. We can use the services of the Processors to process your data, for example, to store your data or host the website. We conclude a processing agreement with these companies in order to ensure they treat your data with the same degree of security and confidentiality.

The Processors will only process your data in accordance with our instructions and never for their own purposes. At all times, Verve by Vruchtvlees remains responsible for this processing. The Processors we make use of include:  Gripp, Frontapp, Google Suite, Forecast, Basecamp.

We are allowed to transfer data to organisations outside the European Union if one of our Processors is located outside the European Union. However, personal data will only be transferred to countries and organisations that offer an adequate level of protection; a level which meets the standards of the Relevant Data Protection Legislation.

Verve by Vruchtvlees installs cookies of Facebook to show relevant ads to you. The cookies consist of a randomly generated ID which recognizes you and registers the number of visits, browser-type and date and shares them with Facebook. These data regarding your surfing behavior can be shared with Facebook, because a Facebook pixel has been implemented in our pages. It is not possible for Verve to retrace such data to an individual. How can I view, correct or remove my data?

You can view, correct or remove your personal data. We may retrieve data of third parties from the parties in question, but we depend upon their response. Please send an email to: info@verveagency.com 

How can I switch off or remove cookies?

You can choose not to give your permission to install cookies. In the internet browser you can also block cookies. It varies by browser how to do this, most browsers explain this in their help function. When blocking cookies, our website may not operate as well.

Verve by Vruchtvlees takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
